In collaboration with Starterslabo and GTB Flanders, Goomyx developed ondernemenvooriedereen.be - a platform that makes entrepreneurship accessible to anyone with an entrepreneurial heart, regardless of what challenges lie on their path. The platform inspires and informs, with accessibility and inclusiveness at its core.
In Goomyx we found the perfect partner and website builder for our ‘Entrepreneurship for all’ project. The technical skills are definitely there, but on top of that they excel in knowledge and commitment to the theme, clear communication and a warm integrity in working together.
The development of the platform was an intensive collaboration. By combining GTB's expertise in job placement for people with disabilities with Starterslabo's experience in entrepreneurship coaching, a unique knowledge base was created. Goomyx translated this expertise into an accessible digital platform. There was also a panel of experts, entrepreneurs in main or secondary occupations, who shared insights around content as well as the structure and look and feel of the website.
The platform was developed with accessibility as a core principle. We took into account the WCAG guidelines to ensure that the website is usable for everyone, regardless of their digital skills or limitations. This included:

A key part of the platform to enhance accessibility is the integrated accessibility toolbar. This gives users full control over how they experience the content, e.g. they can adjust the contrast for better readability, the text size is flexible...
These personalisation options ensure that each visitor can tailor the website to their individual needs and preferences.
The project was created through close cooperation with specialised partners, carefully selected by GTB and Starterslabo. Kolja Graphics provided the graphic design of the logo and other graphic elements and provided motion graphics for the videos. Quindo provided all the visual material. The platform inspires by sharing success stories with entrepreneurs with or without disabilities, informs about specific support and guidance and connects aspiring entrepreneurs with the right organisations and experts.
